The Internal security Forces (ISF) has used motorcycles in its missions since 1977, where the number of Harley Davidson 1200, made in 1975,used by police officers reached 38.

This kind of motorcycles has been used until 2006 where their number reached 545.

The ISF used also other types of motorcycles: 80 motorcycles, make Kawasaki, which were used between 1990 and 1994;121 motorcycles, make Motokosy , between 1992 and 1994; 120 motorcycles make Suzuki 500cc and 650 cc between 2001 and 2008; 115 motorcycles , make Honda 1100 ST , 250 Cb and Cross cc between 2002 and 2006 and 375 motorcycles Yamaha Cruise 200 AG in 2007 and 24 motorcycles MZ made available with the year 2003.

Please note that the motorcyclists are trained in the ISF Institute and undertake special trainings for executing their missions (as the application of traffic law , traffic management , monitoring general security on roads , VIPs , escort, etc…)
