Flagstaff, AZ Police Department Motor Unit
The Flagstaff Police Department established its Motor Unit in the early
1990's, with four (4) Kawasaki KZ 1000's. In 1999 the department recieved a donation from a local motorcycle
shop of a Harley-Davidson Police Road King. In 2003 the Kawasakis were retired into training bikes. In 2004 Flagstaff
Police Department was able to purchase four (4) Harley-Davidson FXD Dyns-Defenders on a grant from the Governors Office
of Highway Safety. The Department currently has four (4) Harley-Davidson's assigned to patrol.
